About

This blog is a chronological collection of memories of my experience in Vietnam during my tour of duty in 1968.  The purpose of reliving this history is to address the issues of my ongoing PTSD, which I have suppressed for decades.

These recollections are supported by photographs, a wedding album, scrapbooks, an accumulation of souvenirs and my own personal research.  I am attempting to address this subject with a sensitivity to the people, places and names of those who have fallen.

1968 was the year that changed the world.
