Mail call was always the highlight of my day. I received a letter postmarked Huntington Lake, dated July 29th. I put it in my pocket to read later in private.
It was one page, outlining Jenny’s camping experience with friends. I loved hearing about her daily activities, and it gave me reassurance that everything was OK at home.
Jenny planned to take Nancy back to San Diego. Then she would stay in the Laguna Beach house temporarily while her family was there on vacation.
I am a retired restaurant manager. My wife Jenny and I have been married for 50 years, have three grown children and two teen grand kids.
